On-site registration

The Secretariat desk (conference registration and information desk) is located at the lobby of LNEC’s Congress Centre. Delegates must register upon arrival at the LNEC’s Congress Centre. Opening hours are from 8:00 to 18:00 during Tuesday (September 5) to Friday (September 8).

Registration process

• How to register for the River Flow 2006 conference : Download the registration form and fill out the requirements and fax the completed registration form to +351 21 844 3014.
• The confirmation of registration will be issued after receipt of payment.
• All costs are in Euro (and payment should be made in the same). Methods of payment are bank transfer, credit card (VISA, American Express, Mastercard and Diners) and cheque (only for companies having a bank account in Portugal). Please note that all the payments have to be “free of any charges for the recipient”. Any charges that arise have to be borne by the sender.

Registration fees

The conference fees for River Flow 2006 are shown in the table below.

The conference fee covers the technical sessions, one copy of the conference proceedings, the coffee breaks and the three lunches, the opening reception and the conference banquet. Moreover, if the student participates or attends in the Master Classes, the student fee includes lunch and coffee breaks in the day of its realisation. A photocopy of the student's identification (picture I.D.) must be included with the completed registration form.

A limit number of grants for financial support of nationals of emerging and developing countries may be available. Further information will be posted in the Web site and conveyed through the mailing list.

Persons accompanying a conference participant may register for a fee of €200. This registration fee covers the accompanying persons program and the social program, but does not include attendance at the conference sessions and the post-conference technical tour.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of the registration must be made in writing (letter or fax) to the Local Organising Committee. The registration fees will be refunded as follows:

• 75% if the cancellation is received before 30 th June 2006
• 50% if the cancellation is received after 30 th June 2006

If the cancellation is received after 31 st July 2006 no refund will be given, but Conference documentation will be mailed to the registrant.

Hotels

• Hotel reservations must be made directly with the hotel.
• Participants are free to book accommodation in any hotel of their preference. However, special rates have been negotiated with the hotels listed in the accommodation page.
